Carolina BrewMasters

CBM's US Open homebrew competition is second only to Oktoberfest in size and scope as far as club events go, and the 2013 edition is complete! Many thanks to the countless volunteers that gave up time and energy to make the competition a success.

Congrats to all the winners, and kudos to CBM winners Alex, Joe and Shawn, who took the Gambrinus Cup (Rye IPA), the OMB Rein Stein (Kolsch) and the overall 1st Best of Show (Peach lambic), respectively.

At the US Open on Saturday, the Carolina BrewMasters were officially awarded the CBoY firkin and took the title CBoY Club of the Year for 2013. In addition, CBM added bragging rights to the Brewer of the Year AND Master Brewer of the Year with Bill Lynch's dominant win in both categories. Many thanks to all the CBM members that entered CBoY competitions this year, and to those that won ribbons and scored points for CBM and made this win possible. Congrats to us!
